i feel your gaze finding me,
your maze engulfing my reality
my polished fingers caress your face—
nails, a plum gel,
orchids burst surreally
a haze approaches us

my eyes strain in mulberry thoughts,
all i see is your legacy, violet
the memories, indigo
my polished fingers caress a dream—
nails, a mauve gel,
wisterias burst surreally
the haze surrounds us

a field of lavender wheat,
you fade into the breeze
my polished fingers caress a vapor—
nails, a periwinkle gel,
lilacs burst surreally
your haze buries me
